Parity - Behind the Scenes

While filming our thriller we used another video camera to record behind the scenes footage. This ranged from showing how we filmed different camera angles and creating different atmospheric shots. 

This clip shows Sam smearing the fake blood on the wall, to create the sense that I hit the wall after being stabbed and slid down to the floor.

We filmed this scene multiple times to get the knife to bounce upon hitting the floor to give a realistic effect, without being too blurry on the camera. 

Sam is quickly practicing the basics of the scene, while Haran decides what camera angle is best to use.

When filming this scene we found that Sam was struggling to use the tap, also we noticed that camera 2 was best suited for this scene, because it had better view of the sink and Sam washing his hands.

 

When filming this scene we found it quite difficult to choose the best camera angle and the best way to drag my body. We ended up to film on the left and to drag me by my feet. 

 

 

In this last scene Sam had trouble kicking the knife while dragging my body. I suggested that if Sam released my body then kicked the knife it would look much more better and professional.
