Parity - Pre Production

Sam took a picture of me and Haran drawing a story board for our film parity, the pictures were in order of the scenes in the film. It helps to do story boards, so we have a rough idea of the scenes when filming, it also helps to develop our ideas further.

Not only did we use images in our story board we also added a brief sentence underneath which included information, such as certain movements or actions in a particular scene.

From the start of production we knew we wanted to film our thriller in a public toilet. As there are numerous toilets located around the school we thought it was a good idea to film on site as it was easy for everyone to access compared to meeting elsewhere. We decided to choose the geography toilets as they were the cleanest and best suited are film.

This other picture shows the cubical where my body was dragged and hidden inside the cubical. When filming we found that the window was letting too much light in, as we wanted to give the impression the scene was happening at night. So we attached a black bin bag to the outside window to decrease the amount of light being shown.
